hi all. Let's talk about sex. Most of us know that babies are made when a mommy and a daddy decided to have one and they proceed with the act of copulation. During this act, sperm from the daddy fertilises the egg in the mommy and a new life begins. Magical isn't it?

Now here's my point. We take this knowledge for granted. I asked this question on an irc channel. "how did we ever find out about the egg?" and the reply was "biology, in pri. school". Sheesh..like DUH! I MEANT who was the VERY FIRST person who discovered the human egg? How in the world did that person even suspect that there was such a thing in the woman? Sure, he may have seen fish and birds lay eggs, but you don't see human eggs popping out from anyone's arse now do you? The sperm I can understand. Cos it actually "comes out". You can examine it under a microscope once its out. So that person just decided one day to take that "stuff", put it in a petri dish, and stick it under the scope. And viola, he finds the little buggers.

But what in the world led him to think there was an egg in the female?!? For all he knew the swimming buggers would grow into a baby, like a tadpole (dun laugh, this was even before anyone knew about foetuses). SO, since we eventually DID learn about the egg, that must mean that SOMEONE decided to go looking for one. That means that person, decided to jab something up someone's or something's well..special place. Now, that person probably checked an animal first. Probably a monkey or a sheep or some other poor unsuspecting mammal. So, after jamming that shite up the..special place, that person prolly FOUND the egg. I don't know how though.. Just think about it for a second. Would YOU want to go looking around whatever's in there? That person was prolly some sicko. Mad scientist.

So, after finding the ANIMAL ovum. Whats the next step? See if human's have one!!!
Now I ask of you to think about this again. Who in the right mind, would want this sick, animal mutilator sticking stuff up your..special place?!?!? That leads me to conclude that that the test subjects were NOT willing OR the tests were done on DEAD people. Which makes that person a sick,perverted, animal mutilating necropheliac.

Today I "caught up" with my "old friends" because I had way~ too much time to kill. My SMS bill juz went up a few notches. Lucky I dun pay it :P

I'm putting this here so that you peeps won't read the Serendipity spoiler first. That way I can say I've given you ample warning. Don't blame me for ruining the ending for you :P

Today, I got to go out and play. So glad I got to do that. I really need to play now that I'm working in that place. The work is beginning to get to me. I'm just not happy doing this. I wonder how far I can go in this field. Maybe its because I'm stuck, I've got a problem thats why I'm unhappy... I wasn't complaining the 1st few days. Aiii..I dunno.. What else can I do? Just got to suck it in and do my best. The sooner I get the shite done, the sooner I can be outta there. Except I know that they're just going to keep me in there as long as they can. They'll find something in the program to change.

I'm not even a good designer. The aesthetics are bad, the design werkflow is imperfect, theres just so much that can be improved on. And I'm not the one to improve on it. I haven't perfected any of the skills I have picked up from MMC.. What I really want to be is a master of Flash. I really REALLY love what it can do. But I have done NOTHING to improve my skills. Sure I've bought books, fiddled around with it a little. But I never REALLY sat down and did what was in the book. I'm a failure at that.

Today I watched Serendipity.
This entry contains A LOT of spoliers, read it only if you don't mind me telling you the story


Serendipity is a good show. It leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling inside and makes you believe that there are soulmates out there. It also did something else to me. It made me question true commitment. This might seem wierd, I mean, most people would be glad that the 2 leads John and Sara eventually got together, it's whats expected. However, I couldn't help but wondered what happened to Holley(? is that how you spell it?).

Holley is John's fiancee. And she wasn't the unsensitive asshole that Lars was portrayed to be. Instead she was a trusting, loving bride to be. And all this time while they were together, John was thinking about Sara. Maybe not ALL the time, but it was mentioned that he never quite gave up on Sara at the start. Maybe I'm wrong, and that he gave up the search after meeting Holley. But still, in the end he went on a hunt for Sara 3 days before his wedding.

Again, I'm glad that John did that, cause the show made it that the 2 were meant to be together. But still, Holley must have been badly hurt by all this. Her wedding was called of the morning of the ceremony. Thats gotta suck.

But still, its a great date show. Don't let my assholic wet blanket thoughts ruin it for you :)

this has been one bloody boring saturday. I didn't get to go to ssb as planned..maybe cos it wasn't REALLY planned... Just some last minute wanna go kind of thing. Couldn't get a big enough party so the whole shite was cancelled. Wanted to go out to take pics of ppl along orchard, but stopped to watch j-drama on Goggles instead. Even thought i already saw them both. The kendo guy wan, with the bra model and the same actor when he was younger in that news-anchor show. That guy getting a lot of exposure sia. This means he's on TV 3 times a week. Wah seh.. and I dun even know his name. Like I care. Si guy.

My own personal review

Battle Royale is one of the most entertaining movies I have ever watched. Mainly because of its ridiculously unbelievable plot. Its about a class of defiant students who get selected for the "BR Project". Apparently its supposed to be a law and has been going on for a few years already. The students are put on to a deserted island by their deranged teacher. He feels that the students are all trash and deserve to die. Which is why he forces them to kill each other.

Despite sounding like such a grim show, there are actually many elements in the movie that make it fall in to the genre of dark humour instead. Being a fan of such a genre I enjoyed the ridiculous way some of the students died. Now before you people start saying how sick I am, all I have to say in defense is that its just a movie. That aside, here are some pretty lame things to look out for : the really absurd training video "How to properly kill in Battle Royale", "You're just too cute...", "How am I supposed to know!?!?!" and other really dumb rubbish in there. You HAVE to watch the movie to understand wat I'm toking abt.

Overall : 4 out of 5 stars (on vcd) 3 out of 5 stars (in the movies)

I brought my laptop to werk today. Turns out i can plug another monitor in to my laptop and have on really big desk top. That was fun :)
Brought SOME joy in my life. I also ran out to buy me a $44 mouse when I got sick of that *auto double click*. Ah well...

I wish I wasn't werking. I wished I was out there having fun with a camera or something.

Back from Darwin....oos..wot a ride.. see the MOST significant thing that probably happened on the trip was the filght delay. We were supposed to board at around 5..but at around 5.30 the guy said "we seem to be having technical problems with the plan, our engineers are lookinging in to it. We expect the plane to be ready for boarding in at most 30 mins"...Right...... At around 6...or maybe 7.... "Ladies and gentlemen. Our engineers have identified the problem to be with the right wing flap. *blah blah blah insert technical babble here blah blah blah*. The earliest we can arrange a new flight is for tommorow morning." Whee~ And so in another 30 mins I was on my way to the Carlton Darwin!! OOoo Staying in their suite too.. not too shabby at all.. 1 huge masterbed ( i know what some of you are thinking...stop it) and 1 large..erm..sitting room. and 2 TVs. Too bad the TV only had pay-per-view movies..even porno..oo...but nah..being the wholesome guy I am (or childish whichever way u wanna look at it), I watch the NICKELODEAN channel instead. Fun buns. I like cartoons. ANYWAY. Turns out our new flight is at 2.30 am, 21st Nov. Which means~ I got 4 hours of fine resting in the suite. and then we were off again. p|ty.

OK...Enough about THAT event.. Darwin as a whole..hmmm wot was that like..well..Darwin is pretty..boring.. It really is..their main attractions is 4WD but we don't have a 4WD so....too bad for us there. The other thing abt Darwin is that it has a whole bunch of National Reserves. Theres a Wildlife park..a desert reserve a dunno WHAT~ reserve.. a lot of trees correct liao la... trees and flies. Bloody irritating flies.. Damn pieces of flying shite. Always in your face..buzzing abt

Shopping wise was pathetic.. They have ONE big shopping mall...and it really is BIG. But still cannot find anything really good to get. So i juz got me some clothes.. Sorry guys, no pressies this time.. That place really damn laid back.

Fun experiences..hmmm..thinking..thinking...Not a lot leh..I remember my bro. toking some kok at one of the reserves..but I forgot wot he said..really kok correct liao.. then my mom ALMOST got a leech attack there..HUGH leech man... trash that other leech we all know :) budden lucky for us..the bugger haven't bite kenna flick away liao..otherwise see a crazy mother..

Another popular attraction of that place si the fish feeding.. when the tide comes in..you walk down this jetty..and u feed the fish that come to feed with bread. Its supposedly a lot of fun..cos the fish are swimming arnd your feet. I hate fish. I was bored.

Hog's Breath bar and saloon. I tell you, this is where i had the BEST steak i have ever had in my entire life. MASSIVE 400g steaks..having trouble picturing it? lemme try to assisit...hmm..its about as thick as a Big Mac..thick as in height...y axis and maybe...15 x 10 cm? measured from the two longest axis..I not too sure.. damn big correct liao..I'm juz est. here.. thinking abt it...droolll~

It looked REALLY gross. Like it was rotting or something. But actually it was juz the cream i rubbed on. It mixed with the blood to get that really gross look...

First time using this little bugger.... I got tired of recordings and converting the dang file to swf and then having to connect to the server..then transfering the files....liewz..ji tao waste time..I'm gonna save those recordings for really special stuff.
